The New York Times is upset and complaining because Colin Jost joked that they needed Wordle to survive financially.
Don't miss Predatory Is The Daily, Sarah Jones' essay on Kristi Noem.
Here's the joke Jost told at the White House Correspondents' Dinner:
“Wordle is here tonight,” Jost told The New York Times. sorry. I meant the New York Times. I forgot they do other things besides puzzles. “This is not a good sign when the only thing that sustains a print media company is games that people play on their phones.” pic.twitter.com/TTTjFo6nuz

Politico's playbook outlines the new front in the NYT/Biden feud.
The no-longer-secret debate between the Biden world and the NYT has moved into new territory. Did you enjoy COLIN JOST? The “Saturday Night Live” veteran's WHCD set was panned yesterday by NYT critic Jason Zinoman as “mute, vanilla, and less assured than usual.” defense.
Treasury spokeswoman MEGAN BATES-APPER kicked things off by suggesting at Campaign official TJ DUCKLO later said the paper's assessment was “wildly off, as usual, and says more about them and their own insecurities than the subject they are covering.” Meanwhile, former White House communications director JENNIFER PALMIERI called Jost “the best comedian I've ever seen in that room.”
The New York Times is acting like Donald Trump and throwing a fit because Colin Jost has pointed out that the paper is financially viable because he owns Wordle.
Jost is the latest subject of a feud between the White House and The New York Times. The NYT has relentlessly attacked President Biden's age and has admitted to having an anti-Biden bias because the president does not give exclusive interviews.
Instead of sitting down with The New York Times last week, Biden appeared on Howard Stern's radio show.
Biden isn't backing down, and the New York Times seems to be becoming increasingly petty and bitter.
