“I think people forget that moving into my sister’s house was strategic in my situation,” he said. “So I thought, ‘I’ve got to find somewhere new, or I’ve got to go somewhere that’s very easy to travel to on the mainland.’”
And despite being literally the odd one out in the house, Joey said it was “a scary thing” to adjust and move in with Kelsey instead of trying to find a home of her own.
