“The answers will obviously vary. But 2020 is sure to rank pretty high on the list of miserable years. Finally, when COVID-19 arrived. The pandemic ultimately claimed more than a million lives in the United States alone. Our economy has collapsed. Schools and businesses were closed, unemployment was soaring, and most people were isolated and scared. While scientists were trying to figure out how the virus spreads, how to prevent infection and how to treat it, most Americans were stocking up on hand sanitizer, paper towels and toilet paper. Avoid door handles, railings, and other shared surfaces. “I obsessively clean my groceries and mail.”
