Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock reunite for 'Practical Magic' sequel!
She shared the exciting news while chatting with 'Extra's' Terry Seymour, along with her 'Family Affair' co-stars Zac Efron and Joey King.
Nicole confirmed with a smile, “Sandy and I, yes. The Owens sisters are back.”
She said: “We've been around for a while, but I wanted to tell a good story. And I love Sandy, so the thought of working with her again… We both said, 'Oh my God, we're still here and we're still working and we're living this life.' I’m really passionate about it.’ And it’s kind of fun to apply that to what we’re trying to do now.”
“It’s beautiful,” Zac smiled.
“We want to have fun,” Nicole added.
Kidman also gave an update on another big project, season 3 of “Big Little Lies”!
Nicole said, “I’m writing it. Production hasn't started yet because Liz is hosting 'The Morning Show.' But yes, it’s happening.’”
“We need more of that,” Efron said. Joy added, “We need more Nicole Kidman.”
Nicole said, “No, no, there was always going to be a third.”
“I don’t think the story is completely over,” Zac pointed out.
Nicole said, “It’s a three-part storytelling, so there was a reason we had to wait.”
Will there be a role for Zac or Joey in “Big Little Lies”? Joy smiled and said, “Don’t feel so pressured. I’ll call you later and give you the burden.”
Zac joked: “We’ll put ourselves on tape and submit it.”
Nicole continued, “Yes. But there had to be this gap there. “When people see it, they will know why.”
Nicole didn't reveal the guest star, saying, “Ask Reese.”
She also said that one of Kidman's daughters is really ready for another season!
Nicole said, “It was my daughter who really encouraged it. She was like, ‘Oh my God, you have to do it.’ [it]. So that was the push we needed.”
When Terri said that all her fans were grateful for the encouragement, Nicole shot back that it was more of a “demand.” She added, “I have to make her daughter happy!”
