Popular actor and podcaster Russell Brand taught viewers how to pray the Rosary during this week's episode of his show.
The brand has increasingly focused on Christianity and Catholicism in his videos, and earlier this year he began wearing a cross around his neck.
“For today’s meditation we’re going to do something a little different. We will pray the Holy Rosary.” Brand said: “Now I don’t know all the prayers as they start and end with a particular prayer. But today we will look at the chant itself.”
Brand showed the rosary with a broken cross and said it was a gift from his friend Joe.
“He said that even though the cross was broken, Christ was whole.” Brand explained.
The actor explained that there are five sets of 10 beads, “with very little disruption.” He said to chant the Hail Mary in the intermission and the Lord's Prayer and Glory be to you in the interlude. “I’m not sure” about the opening and closing prayers, he said.
Brand asked viewers to pray with him or listen as he did so.

Brand posted the prayer clip to X, a platform previously known as Twitter, where it quickly garnered more than 1.6 million views.
Breitbart News reported, “Last year, he expressed his need for God in his life, claiming he 'couldn't make it in this world' without God.”
