In fact, as the weather in Paris moves towards summer, you'll notice that it starts to get more crowded. I'd say June is the start of the peak summer season, but crowds are definitely not at their highest in June.
Depending on the year you travel, it's worth mentioning that the start of June can be crowded if the UK's Whitsun holidays extend into June (as they sometimes do).

The only special event this year is Donald Duck's birthday on June 9th! This birthday is a special one as Donald turns 90, so the following special events will be held at the park:

Tips for visiting Disneyland Paris in June
Where is the best place to stay in Disneyland Paris in June?
If your Disneyland Paris budget stretches that far, we recommend staying on-site while at Disneyland Paris. That's because being an on-site guest gives you additional benefits.
This can be summarized as follows:
- Easiest access to the park. Waking street or shuttle buses are provided for on-site guests.
- Amenities – Some hotels have swimming pools (more luxurious ones). It's a great place to relax after a long day at the park, especially in the summer when the park gets hot.
- Meet and Greet – Usually takes place in the morning and evening. It will be one character. Normally you won't know who one of the Fab 6 is, you'll only meet them in the lobby. The lines here are much shorter than at the parks, so this is a great way to get your autograph added to your Disney autograph book.
- Early Magic Hours – Enter the park earlier than the general public to optimize your time at the park and reduce wait times.
Best Things to Do at Disneyland Paris in June
parade
This is another must for you to visit. I think June is one of the best times to see the parade because the sun is not at its strongest, although there is little chance of getting wet while waiting. Let me tell you, waiting for the parade on an August afternoon can be a hot and sticky situation.
NOTE: Parade times have changed for June 2024. Current parade times are:
- Disney Stars on Parade moves to 11:30 a.m.
- “A Million Splashes of Color” moves into the afternoon and evening: 2 PM / 3:25 PM / 5:50 PM / 7:05 PM.
Watch Mickey and the Magician
Mickey and the Magician is my favorite show in the park and top of my Disneyland Paris bucket list. The show takes place at Walt Disney Studios and usually runs from February to September. If you have this feature turned on during your June visit, be sure to add it to your itinerary.
Explore the castle
In my opinion, Disneyland Paris has the most beautiful castle in the world. Take time to explore the castle, admire its beautiful stained glass and tapestries, and come face-to-face with a dragon in its dungeons.
Meet and Greet the Characters
Character meet and greets are a must on your Disneyland Paris itinerary. If you travel outside public holidays or UK school holidays, there should be fewer queues than if you travel during peak season.
It's a good idea to pick the characters you absolutely need to meet and prioritize them in case the lines are long.
character dining
If budget and finding cheap food isn't a priority for you at Disneyland Paris and you can afford to splurge on a meal, consider a character dining experience. You can learn more about character dining at Disneyland Paris here.
