Mother of Maryland murder victim Rachel Morin We are appealing for information from the public.
After authorities released a sketch of the person they believe is behind a “violent murder” in a Baltimore suburb last summer, her mother, Patty Morin, shared an emotional plea for help finding the suspect.
“You can’t live with pain your whole life,” she told Baltimore’s WBAL-TV on Feb. 12. “We can’t do that because it needs to serve us and allow us to move forward.”
Rachel's body was found near a hiking trail in Bel Air, Maryland, in August last year. It was just one day after Rachel's boyfriend notified her authorities that she had taken her evening walk and had not returned home. Days after the 37-year-old's body was discovered, she was taken to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Jeffrey R. Galer Maryland police shared that DNA collected from Rachel's murder scene matched samples taken from a home invasion in March where a “young girl” was assaulted, leading to a connection to the Los Angeles incident.
