Ah, butterbeer! Harry Potter fans will have no problem using summoning spells to purchase the famous wizard's drink at Universal theme parks during the first Butterbeer season.
Butterbeer Season, taking place at Universal's Florida and California theme parks from March 15 to April 30, gives guests a chance to try the iconic beverage in several new forms.
“Butterbeer Season is a new global franchise initiative to celebrate each year the taste, aroma and appearance of the iconic beverage from the magical world of magic that fans will recognize,” Universal said.
Butterbeer is already sold in various forms in the park. They have cold, hot, frozen and vegan beers as well as fudge, potted cream and ice cream.
During Butterbeer season, limited-time treats are released in California and Florida. These include butterbeer-flavored “ice candy” or popsicles. Butterbeer Caramel is set to debut at Universal Orlando Resort.
For a limited time, customers can purchase frozen Butterbeer in collectible silver glasses.
Additionally, Universal Studios Hollywood is introducing Florean Fortescue's ice cream counter within the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. (The ice cream shop is currently located in the Universal Studios Florida park).

Universal describes the taste as “reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread.”
