Yesterday, hot temperatures hit the Midwest. Heat waves are expected to reach the Great Lakes, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions over the next few days. Meteorologists said temperatures could break daily records. In some areas, it could be the longest heat wave in decades, according to the National Weather Service.
