Republicans never refuse to play dirty politics until the next election week. Hypocritically, they will not tolerate Democratic delaying tactics to avoid investigation or prosecution because of the upcoming election. But the liberal media is obsessed with repeating how legal action related to Trump's prosecution will be controlled by how close it gets to Election Day. Why don't they stop? The story contributes to the potential breakdown of democracy by making it sound as if prioritizing the pursuit of justice for an insurgent former president is unacceptable.
Judges should ignore Trump's election interference charges And put justice first. Democracy depends on it because Trump runs on the platform of: Signs about autocracy and Putin The United States will soon become Russia's ally.
The court and the Ministry of Justice worked hard to avoid criticism and accusations of 'weaponization and election interference'. Have they not realized that no matter how fair and legal their actions may be, Republicans will accuse them of corruption anyway? Attorney General Merrick Garland has exercised restraint in the fight to protect democracy. His priority was to avoid comparisons to William Barr, the former AG who was corrupted by Trump. Despite Garland's great efforts to ensure fair application of the law, he is still demonized by the right as a corrupt arms maker. So he should consider taking a tougher stance on MAGA members as compensation for the long delay in prosecuting Donald Trump.
Don't slow down or give up on legal action or bold political strategies.
- The judges must stop postponing trial activity while Trump appeals the harsh ruling.
- Trial dates should not be cancelled.
- Judges should punish Trump for his behavior in court just like any other citizen. Don’t worry about charges of partisan weaponization.
- Ignore the allegations of election interference. The answer should be: “It’s about crime, not about what time of year it is.
It actually explains what rural America will look like if Trump becomes president;
- There would be less funding for social programs like Medicare, Medi-cal, and Social Security.
- Since Trump has promised to end Obamacare, health care costs will increase.
- Infrastructure projects will be halted because undermining Biden's accomplishments is more important to Trump than creating new jobs.
- Taxes will rise to fund Trump's ongoing agenda of cutting taxes on the rich.
When Trump no longer needs the votes of his base, his story about wanting to make America great again for forgotten rural Americans will be exposed as the new Big Lie.
If Cheney runs for president, she will give conservatives who never supported Trump hope that the fight to reclaim their party from Trump and the MAGA fascist movement is possible. She promised she would do whatever it took to prevent Trump from returning to power. If you vote for Cheney, she can save democracy.
