Caleb Harris, 21, has been missing from Corpus Christi, Texas, since March 4, 2024. Caleb was a student at Texas A&M.
Caleb's father is Randall Harris and his mother is Becky Harris.
Caleb is two and a half years into his environmental science degree. He was planning to get certified as a kayak guide and go to Alaska for work this coming summer.
Caleb's father, Randy, said Caleb is not in a relationship and is focused on school and hobbies.
The timeline of events to date is as follows:
We know that on Sunday March 3rd, Caleb played video games with his two roommates and a friend. Caleb lived in an off-campus apartment at The Cottages on Joslin Road, Ennis.

Caleb has known his roommate since freshman and senior years.
The group played for over an hour with another friend who lives in Colorado.
At 10 p.m., Caleb sent a Snapchat video to his friend showing the tackle box.
At 11:53 p.m., Caleb sent a photo of his roommate's dog to his mother and uncle.
At 12:56 a.m. on Monday, March 4, Caleb was captured on a Ring doorbell camera at a nearby apartment. Caleb, his friend, and one of his roommates were seen playing with a dog that belonged to Caleb's roommate's girlfriend.
According to Corpus Christi Police, “nothing unusual appeared.”
Caleb and the two men returned to the apartment.
“My roommate got a new dog, so from the age of 10 [p.m.] All the while they were playing with the dog. We have video of them playing with the dog,” said Randy Harris, Caleb’s father.
2:20 AM. Caleb's roommate told Caleb that he was going to bed. Caleb told his roommate that he planned to 'order snacks through UberEats for school lunch' later that day. The roommate said that before Caleb went to bed, she was preparing a fishing reel for a planned trip.
Caleb ordered two lunches and a Red Bull through UberEats around 2:20 a.m. There's some buzz online about when he ordered this, but I think it was around that time.
At 2:44 a.m., Caleb sent a Snapchat video to his sister. The video shows Caleb walking her dog through the parking lot of her apartment complex.
He returned to the apartment around 2:58 a.m. and dropped off the dog. It is known that he was not wearing shoes at the time.
At 3:03 a.m., Caleb sent another Snapchat to a friend in San Antonio. The photo showed “a small bridge over a ditch in the 1900 block of Ennis Joslin, within a few hundred feet of the entrance to his apartment complex.”
Some reports say Caleb's phone last shared location data with the nearest cell phone tower at 3:12 AM. But Deputy Green said: “We do not believe the 3:12 a.m. ping is accurate. We share all of our data with external partners. FBI and U.S. Marshals.”
At this point, Caleb's phone is or is presumed to have been turned off.
At 3:20 a.m., an UberEats driver delivered Caleb's order to his apartment and, as he had requested, the food was left outside his door.
Around 11 a.m., eight hours after Caleb's last contact, one of his roommates noticed his UberEats order was still sitting on his front doorstep. Caleb's truck was parked in front of the apartment. His wallet and keys were still in the apartment, but his cell phone was gone. His roommates called the police to report Caleb missing.
“Caleb’s roommates, who described him as a domesticated creature of habit, were immediately surprised by his absence. After searching alone for a while, the roommates called CCPD to report Harris missing,” CCPD said in a statement released on social media.
Police said there were no signs of a struggle or evidence of a hit-and-run incident in the area surrounding the apartment. When they searched Caleb's apartment, they said there were no signs of violence and no sign the apartment had been thoroughly cleaned.
Caleb's gun was found in the apartment. These, along with his laptop, were handed over to the police.
Police questioned Caleb's roommates and described them as 'very cooperative'.
The Uber Eats driver, a 31-year-old woman, was also interviewed. She drove alone that night and did not see Caleb or anyone else near her apartment complex, she told police. Her detectives corroborated her account by looking at CCTV from the store where she took Caleb's order.
Additional information about the investigation follows:
Video inspections of more than 50 businesses and private homes were conducted.
Video was searched from 27 locations, including city-owned traffic cameras. Investigators continue to seek additional sources.
Detectives completed 16 search electronic search warrants, filed more than 70 preservation requests, and issued 14 subpoenas for electronic data related to this investigation.
Forensic computer investigators have already reviewed more than 600 gigabytes of electronic data and continue to churn out data arriving almost daily.
The dive team also searched nearby streams in the days after Caleb disappeared.
On March 28, Deputy Chief Green provided an update on the case.
“Unfortunately, we can’t tell the public everything we know from this investigation, and that’s not the way it goes,” Green said. “While we cannot be completely transparent and share everything we know, we can say with great confidence that we have ruled out any roommates involved in this disappearance. H's friends with whom he communicated via social media that night were excluded. We ruled out Uber drivers who made deliveries.
“We investigated all of those individuals very thoroughly. We wouldn't be doing our jobs if we hadn't looked into the possibility that they might have been involved. But we have done it and it has taken a lot of effort. At first I did the task and crossed it off the list. So our next step is to continue to find out exactly what happened to Caleb.”
“It’s like he’s gone,” Randy said. “There is no evidence of a crime, but there is no evidence at all. So it's a matter of looking at every nook and cranny we can think of… “It’s a mystery.”
On April 1, Caleb's family doubled the reward from $25,000 to $50,000 for information leading to his safe return home. The family initially received $25,000 in compensation, with a March 31 deadline.
