Trozena Bridge is one of the most unique bridges in Cyprus due to its construction and location.
It was constructed using British machinery, materials and designs typical of the British colonial era (steel framing and wooden decking over beams). This bridge is one of the few still preserved and operational, and was built on the banks of the Diarizos River. Today the neighboring village of Trozena is abandoned. However, the railway bridge was often used in the mid-20th century as a passage connecting villages famous for their viticulture. There is little movement on the bridge today, but the scenery is still beautiful.
