Here's what's going on:

Judge Merchan previously ruled that Daniels could provide basic details about their encounter.
Judge: I am satisfied that her credibility must be established through her testimony in the case.
Testimony may include “certain basic details” about the sexual encounter https://t.co/kp6hIzqheX

This is terrible for Trump, and it is terrible for the Republican Party.
Even without going into graphic detail, Daniels' testimony is humiliating for Trump and will haunt him and his cronies for the remainder of the 2024 campaign. It doesn't get much worse than an adult performer detailing a night out with the face of the Republican Party and the man the Republican Party deems fit to serve in the White House.
Of course, none of this will matter to Trump's most loyal supporters and the party that has sold them on him.
All indications are that the 2024 election may be just around the corner, so it is voters who are not deeply committed to Biden or Trump who could be most swayed by this kind of testimony.
Voters need to ask themselves whether they want to return to the White House a man who has embarrassed the nation enough to become a defendant in a criminal trial and discuss his encounters with adult entertainers in open court.
Oh, how corrupt the entire political party of Lincoln, Ike, and Reagan has become.
