2023 Public's Choice Winner: Bangladesh National Mosque by Azim Khan Ronnie
The Chartered Institute of Building has announced the winners of its architectural photography competition.
Of the 1,500 images submitted, only 15 images were selected for further evaluation by the judges and the general public. The two winners were each awarded £1,500 as a thank you for their outstanding work.
Azim Khan Ronnie's captivating series capturing group prayers in Bangladesh's National Mosque Hall has won the Public's Choice Award. After 2,000 votes were cast, Azim's entry took first place, receiving 68% of the total votes. The judges chose a video showing workers struggling in dangerous conditions at a brick factory in Bangladesh.
