Sorry, Democrats. You're stuck with Joe Biden.
On the Bill Maher show this weekend, Bill asked former Obama adviser David Axelrod about the idea of replacing Joe Biden with someone else on the Democratic ticket.
Axelrod poured cold water on the whole idea, saying it was a 'fantasy' and Biden wouldn't go anywhere.

David Axelrod suggests Bill Maher's Biden could be replaced on Dem ticket: 'Fantasy'
Maher cited one of Axelrod's own past comments to suggest that he thought there was a lot of “talent” within the Democratic Party that could “emerge” as a new standard bearer.
“The debate is June 27th, and I’ve never debated before the convention,” Maher said. “If Joe really is a bed, would that be a good opportunity to turn him into a bed?”
“Listen, that’s a fantasy I hear a lot about.” Axelrod answered. “I like Joe Biden, I worked with him, and I was grateful to work with him. I think he's done so many good things as president that history has been kind to him. That's not a question. The problem is that he should have played at this age, but did he? And now he is the Democratic candidate.”
“This is not 1968, when the convention decides. We changed the rules. Voters nominate candidates. They nominated Joe Biden and he’s not going anywhere,” Axelrod told Maher. “There is no generation of older people who go to the White House and tell him he can’t run. He's planning to run and I'm sure one of the reasons they want an early debate is so people can focus on this. “It’s Trump and Biden.”
