More than 50 protesters were arrested Tuesday after storming a restaurant inside Dirkson's Senate office building. Some protestors can be heard shouting, “The Senate can’t eat until Gaza eats!”
Fox News host Harris Faulkner describes the area where the protesters were raided as “the biggest cafeteria on the Senate side” of the Capitol complex.
Various protesters can be seen with their hands painted pink, alternately shouting “Children are starving in Gaza” and “People are dying in Gaza.”
Capitol Police reportedly advised that arrests would be made. To which one of the Senate protesters responded, “This is the people’s home!”

Senate protesters disrupted a Senate hearing.
The protesters who shut down the Senate cafeteria were reportedly linked to the same group that repeatedly disrupted a Senate hearing with Pentagon leaders on Tuesday.
These protesters twice disrupted Senate Armed Services Committee hearings at the Capitol. They demanded that the United States “stop funding Israel” and support “genocide” in Gaza.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin told a Senate hearing that there was 'no evidence' that Israel committed genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The message coming from these protesters is that Israel is committing 'genocide'. However, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin testified at a Senate hearing that “there is no evidence of genocide.”
Today I asked. @SecDef A simple question: “Is Israel committing genocide in Gaza?”

This is not the first time official proceedings have been disrupted
Critics note this is not the first time protesters have disrupted official parliamentary proceedings. This is at the heart of every media argument when discussing the ‘insurrection’ at the Capitol.
In March, more than a dozen pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested at the Russell Senate Building.
A month ago, several protesters were arrested inside the rotunda of the Cannon House office building. The activist group was waging 'death'.
Anti-Israel protesters took further action last October when protestors, incited by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MN), stormed the Cannon Building and disrupted formal proceedings in the House of Representatives.

Also in November, pro-Palestinian protesters stormed the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters, injuring six police officers.
