Capcom today made its popular Resident Evil 7 Biohazard game available for download on the App Store, bringing another console-quality title to Apple platforms including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
A free download that unlocks the full game and DLC with an in-app purchase, the game is a whopping 31GB and will cost $40 for the full package. It joins the already released Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village titles.
But to play the game, you’ll need a modern device: an iPad or Mac with an M-series chip, along with a Pro iPhone, the latest models of which can run the game with improved performance and fidelity.

“Terror and isolation seep through the walls of an abandoned Southern farmhouse,” the game's description begins. “'7' marks a new beginning for survival horror with a visceral new first-person perspective, the “Isolated Perspective.” Powered by RE ENGINE, this horror is incredibly immersive as players enter a terrifying new world of terror as they fight to survive.”
Capcom has stated that gamers are encouraged to use a physical controller, but that on-screen controls will also be available for those who prefer.
A limited edition of the game is available for download, but continuing beyond that point requires an in-app purchase of $19.99. Those who want to enjoy the full experience will need to shell out an additional $20 for the DLC. Gamers can purchase Resident Evil 7 Biohazard on the App Store now.
