Rebel Wilson claims in her forthcoming memoir that a Hollywood actor “threatened her” after revealing his intention to name and shame her for her previous behavior.
The Australian actress previously revealed she would dedicate an entire chapter to the story in her book. rebel rise, to a “big bastard” she once worked with. The book is scheduled to be published on April 2nd.
Now Wilson has claimed he hired a team to stop the same man from writing about him on social media.
She said on her Instagram Story: “Now he’s trying to threaten me. He hired a crisis communications manager and a lawyer. He was trying to block press coverage of my new book. But the book will come out and you all will know the truth.”
News.com.au reported when she first mentioned the episode publicly: pitch perfect Starr said the experience led her to adopt a “no problem” policy when accepting future job offers in the United States.
“When I first came to Hollywood, people said, ‘Yeah, I have a no-holes policy, which means I don’t work with no-holes.’ I thought, ‘Okay, that sounds reasonable and logical.’”
“But I didn’t really understand what the older people in the industry meant. 'Cause I've worked with a bunch of assholes, and yeah, I definitely have an asshole policy now. The chapter said he was an asshole. It's chapter 23. “That guy was such an asshole.”
In addition to publishing his memoir, Wilson is preparing his directorial debut. Deb, an adaptation of Hannah Reilly and Meg Washington's stage musical about the awkward trials of adolescence. In addition to directing, Wilson also stars and co-writes with Riley and Washington. Other cast members include Hal Cumpston and Karis Oka.
