Butter Chicken Recipes for Meals
Here is a quick butter chicken recipe you can try at home this Ramadan.
materials needed
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- salt
- pepper
- chili powder
- turmeric
- unsalted butter
- yellow onion
- Garam Masala
- ground cumin
- cayenne pepper
- ginger
- garlic
- cinnamon sticks
- tomato sauce
- water
- heavy cream
- rice
- fresh cilantro
Manufacturing method
- In a large bowl, toss chicken with salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon red pepper powder, and turmeric. Leave it for 15 minutes.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook the chicken until browned, then remove from the pot.
- Melt 2 more tablespoons of butter in saucepan. Add onion, garam masala, remaining 1 teaspoon chili powder, cumin, ginger, garlic, cayenne, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook until it smells really good.
- Add tomato sauce and boil.
- Pour in the water and cream and bring to a boil again.
- Return the chicken to the pot, cover, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add 2 more tablespoons of butter and additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Place the chicken on top of the rice and sprinkle the cilantro on top.
