Princess Eugenie expressed her strong confidence in King Charles III and assured him that he would be proud of her contribution to the royal family's efforts.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter Eugenie took part in an event called the Little Egg Hunt hosted by the Elephant Family, reading to school children in Sloane Square.
The egg hunt is a massive, interactive scavenger hunt to find 12 giant decorated eggs in aid of the Elephant Family charity.
The princess said the king was “doing well” during treatment for an undisclosed cancer, GB News reported.
The king has retired from public affairs on medical advice but still holds private audiences and paperwork.
In an interview with ITV News, Eugenie said Charles would be “very proud” as the charity is “very close to his heart”.
The wildlife conservation charity was founded by Queen Camilla's late brother Mark Shand in 2003.
The princess took part in the event, calling Mark her “dear friend.” Because philanthropy is something close to her family's heart.
She said: “It was very important for me to be here as I have been working with the Elephant Family for a long time and they are a charity very close to my heart and the hearts of my family.
“Mark Shand, who started the charity, was a dear friend and it is so important that the world knows what they are doing to save elephants and make people aware of what is happening.
Queen Camilla also commented on the King's health today during his two-day visit to Northern Ireland.
The Queen said King Charles was “doing very well”.
“I try to keep him in order,” she added.
The Queen also said she was “very disappointed that the King could not come.” [to North Ireland].”
