There are 6 remaining cases. The court is scheduled to hear tomorrow. Friday, June 28th. The Chief Justice has not announced that Friday will be the last day, so we will be back next week. The court designated Monday, July 1, as Opinion Day. Here are my predictions for the last six cases:
From January only Loafer-Bright/cruel Relics. Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Kavanaugh did not write from the bench. Kavanaugh already has six opinions, so his term seems to be over. chevron I am giving this to the leader.
From February sitting, corner post and Net Choice The case remains. Alito and Barrett did not write on the spot. I expect Barrett to write a harsh opinion in . corner post, a case of an odd procedure. And Justice Alito will be writing for a very divided court on the social media case.
From sitting in April gather There were nine arguments in the DIG, six of which have already been decided. I expect Chief Justice Roberts to take up the Trump immunity case. There's no way he's giving up on the case. I believe Justice Gorsuch Fisher. He loves to hate federal criminal law. And Judge Jackson Grant Pass. I think this case could be one of the surprising decisions of the term. Going in, I thought there was no way the homeless would win, but the oral arguments suggest this opinion may be difficult to write.
And if I had to guess, Roberts would hold off. chevron and erase On Monday. Drop it off on the 4th of July weekend.
These predictions are worth what you pay for.
