A new poll shows Donald Trump leading Joe Biden by 8 points in the crucial state of Arizona.
Arizona has been at the center of controversy, especially among those on the right, since Election Night 2020 when FOX News singled out the state early for Biden while people were still voting.
Trump won the state in 2016 and it has been reliably red going back to 2000.
Breitbart News reports:
Poll: Donald Trump leads by 8 points in Arizona.
Former President Donald Trump holds an 8-point lead over President Joe Biden in a hypothetical five-way presidential primary in Arizona, according to an AARP/Fabrizio Ward/Impact Research poll.
According to the survey, Trump is comfortably ahead among Arizona voters, with 45% support. Biden came in second with 37% of responses, followed by independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with 11%.
From there, the Green Party's Jill Stein got 3%, while the Libertarian Chase Oliver got no support. Another 4% of the 600 respondents who were likely voters were undecided.
The poll also polled a sample of 800 voters over the age of 50 and found that Trump leads Biden by 52 to 43 points in deeper categories.
The poll was conducted before and after Trump was found guilty in the Manhattan business records case on May 30. The survey date is from May 28 to June 4, 2024, and the margin of error is ±4% or ±3.5% for 600 voters. Strictly speaking, this is the case for samples of 50 or more.
These numbers look very good for Trump.

Let's hope FOX News is more careful when they call the states this year.
