PM KISAN Scheme: The Center has disbursed over Rs 3.04 lakh crore to over 1.10 crore farmers across the country since the launch of the scheme.
Prime Minister Kisan 17th: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi parliamentary constituency on June 18 for the first time after three consecutive terms. During his visit, he will announce the 17th tranche of PM-KISAN scheme worth Rs 20,000 crore for 9.26 billion beneficiary farmers across the country.
Since the launch of the scheme, the Center has disbursed over Rs 3.04 lakh crore to over 1.10 crore farmers across the country.
Launched in 2019, PM-KISAN is a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) initiative where the beneficiary farmers receive Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments to supplement their financial needs.
PM-KISAN Scheme: Previous Split
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the 16th installment of PM-KISAN scheme worth over Rs 21,000 crore to over 9 crore farmers during his visit to Yavatmal in Maharashtra on February 28, 2024. Part 15 was released on November 15, 2023.
e-KYC Requirements for PM-KISAN
To receive the installment, farmers must complete e-KYC. According to the official website of the scheme, “eKYC is mandatory for PMKISAN registered farmers. OTP based eKYC is available on PMKISAN portal, you can contact your nearest CSC center for biometric based eKYC.
How do I check beneficiary status?
- Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in.
- Now click on the ‘Check Status’ tab on the right side of the page.
- Enter your registration number, enter the captcha code and select the ‘Import data’ option.
- Your beneficiary status will appear on the screen.
PM-KISAN: Check your name in the beneficiary list
- Step 1: Visit Prime Minister Kisan’s official website www.pmkisan.gov.in.
- Step 2: Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab.
- Step 3: Select details like select state, district, sub-district, block, village from the dropdown.
- Step 4: Click on the ‘Get Report’ tab.
This will display the beneficiary list details.
