I got a record deal because I was passionate, and I had something to say, and I had a voice,” she told “60 Minutes.” “I feel safe because I don't have to rely on traditional beauty, and it doesn't have to be my style, and I don't have to maintain it as I get older. I don't have to. I can do all of that.”
