Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands is set to reopen this year after six years of renovation and reconstruction.
The resort, which closed in 2017 due to Hurricane Irma, will offer new and upgraded accommodations and amenities. The rebuilt Beach Front Junior Suites, new beachfront two-bedroom villas and one-bedroom rooms/suites will be located beachfront at Deadman's Beach. There is also a new infinity pool overlooking Deadman's Beach. Luxury villa Falcons Nest is being rebuilt and redesigned on a mountain peak with 360-degree views in the British Virgin Islands. Hawks Nest Villa, perched on a hill overlooking Sprat Bay, is also being upgraded and refurbished.
The 52-room, suite and villa resort is expanding its meeting and event facilities with a new 3,000-square-foot waterfront conference center that can accommodate up to 180 guests. These new facilities include a dedicated on-site kitchen, flexible indoor spaces, and scenic outdoor spaces for events, receptions and meetings.

Peter Island Spa has been upgraded. It includes seven treatment rooms, including two couples’ treatment rooms. welcome and relaxation lounge; fitness center; spa boutique; And a beauty salon. The spa grounds also include a saltwater swimming pool, outdoor seating area and an outdoor hot tub facing Big Reef Bay.
Two new restaurants are planned. The beachfront Drake Steakhouse serves surf and turf cuisine with a Caribbean twist, while the Drunken Pelican offers more casual fare, craft cocktails and a variety of beers, wines and spirits at the resort. yacht club.
The yacht club will accommodate large superyachts up to 200 feet and include basketball, pickleball and bocce ball courts as well as a restaurant and Sea Chest Boutique store.
The resort is currently accepting reservations for stays starting October 3, but earlier stays may become available once an official opening date is determined. Rates at Peter Island Resort start at $1,000 per night.
