CHALFONT, Pa. (TCD) — A 50-year-old pizzeria owner recently pleaded guilty to murdering his longtime partner in their home in 2022 and attempting to hide her body in their bedroom.
Anna Tolomello is guilty of third-degree murder, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse in connection with the shooting death of her 65-year-old boyfriend and business partner, according to a press release issued April 8 by the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. admitted. -Old Giovanni Gallina. Tolomelo is scheduled to be sentenced on June 25.
Tolomello and Gallina reportedly ran Pina's Pizza together. The investigation began after Galina's son told authorities he last heard from his father on March 16, 2022, but was unable to contact him. According to prosecutors, Tolomelo never reported the man missing and said he was never in the city.
Officers with the Hilltown Township Police Department responded to the couple's home on Limekiln Pike and found Gallina's body suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was reportedly found wrapped in a blue tarp in the master bedroom.
Tolomelo initially said he shot his partner in self-defense, according to the district attorney's office. But in pleading guilty, Tolomello admitted it was “unjust” to kill Gallina. She reportedly left Galina's body in the house for 13 days and destroyed evidence related to his death.
According to court documents reviewed by WTXF-TV, Tolomelo hired someone to dig a hole in his driveway and said he would fill the hole himself with a shovel.
