Ah yes, this year it is time to look back before looking forward. I love digging into AirlineReporter's analytics to see which articles were most popular and where our readers are coming from. Some of you may be thinking, “Well David, there hasn’t been that much talk this year.” Well, you'd be right. I don't want to make big claims that we'll soon return to an era of sharing new stories every day… but I hope we can find a happy place in between.
And for those of you who want to see our new stories but aren't sure when they'll be published, sign up to our newsletter. Then we'll send you an email when we post a new story (sweet self-plug, right?).
Let's take a look at the most read stories, what cities and countries our readers are from, and other weird stories!

Top 5 stories to read and write in 2023
The most-read stories of 2023 are the clear winners of the year… Manu had a great idea for us. April Fool's Day It seemed like a lot of people liked the story as well. I'm really glad I haven't heard from Mr. Musk or his lawyers. Singapore A350-900ULR was not only the third most read article of the year, it was published on December 14, 2023. That means it only took two weeks to reach that rank. Impressive. Manu has had such great success this year!!!

- JAL 777-300ER Business Class, New York-Tokyo by Manu

Countries with only one site visitor
There was only one country where we had zero visitors to our site. Can you guess which country it is? North Korea. Shocking, right? Otherwise, there was at least one visitor from each country and only one visitor below (I must admit I had to Google a few of them).
- Comoros
- Falkland Islands
- Kiribati
- Nauru
- castle. bartholomew
- Turkmenistan

Random stuff I found interesting (you might too)
- About 65% of you are using a mobile device, 30% are using a desktop/laptop, and 5% are using a tablet.
- 46 of you accessed our site via smart TV…
- Most of you are using Chrome, followed by Safari, Edge, and Firefox. But many of you are tech-savvy, and 37 different browsers have been used to access AR.
- Some of my favorite browser names include Aloha Browser, SeaMonkey, Nintendo Browser (initially written as “Bowser”), PaleMoon, and Puffin.
- Number of screen resolution combinations used for AR surfing: 2229. 390×844 is first and 1920×1080 is second.
Time to conclude…
So here's the bad news and the good news. I have no further analysis to share. Because that's all we're tracking. We won't go into more detail because we don't need to explain it to you and we don't want to be responsible for your data. then… Cheers to 2024!
