The couple visited the restaurant on William's birthday, where servers were skeptical about their claims that they shared a March 6 birthday.
“His birthday is March 6th and my birthday is February 29th. And there's no 29th on the calendar this year. So my birthday is March 6th,” she told a server at the restaurant.
The couple were singers who performed with a banjo band in Tulsa's communities and restaurants.
Mary, a mother of two, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of 11, was also a secretary at a law firm and a writer.
