The maximum price range for all securities, including those for which derivatives are offered during the special session, is 5%. Securities already in the 2% or lower price range will continue to be available at that price range.
“The Exchange will conduct a special live trading session on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in the equity and equity derivatives segment, with a one-day transition from the primary site to the disaster recovery site,” NSE said in a circular.
Earlier, NSE and BSE held similar trading sessions on March 2.
The session will be a specific meeting with market regulator Sebi and the Technical Advisory Committee to assess the readiness of market infrastructure entities such as exchanges to deal with unexpected events affecting their operations and restore operations at DR sites within the stipulated time frame.
