Kaneijah Zyir Bradley, 22, was charged with murder after her younger sister was found dead, with investigators discovering the child had been “stabbed multiple times.”
A North Carolina woman has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing her 10-year-old sister to death.
According to press release Kaneijah Zyir Bradley, 22, was charged with murder after her sister was found dead in the backyard of a home outside Enfield, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office Wednesday morning.

According to reports, police responded to a report of a missing child Tuesday night in the 2000 block of Beaver Dam Road and discovered that the 10-year-old's mother had found her daughter's body in her backyard.
“Further investigation revealed that the child had actually died from multiple stab wounds,” the sheriff’s office said, adding, “We believe the victim was stabbed inside the home and then moved outside the home.”
An official said, “At this time, the motive for the incident is unclear and the investigation is ongoing.”

“This is a truly sad incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,” Sheriff Davis said.
Bradley was arrested and charged with murder. She is being held in the Halifax County Detention Center without bail and her court date is set for Jan. 25.
According to North Carolina Outlet WRALThis is Bradley's third arrest in the past year.
Last April, Bradley was charged with assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury and grand theft auto. Meanwhile, last August, she was charged with assaulting a public official with a deadly weapon, and she was also charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting a public official.
