MSC Cruises canceled three repositioning sailings in April to avoid sailings through the Red Sea and Suez Canal.
The cruise line was the latest to change its schedule after Yemen's Houthi rebels attacked its ships in the Red Sea. The attacks forced shipping companies to reroute their ships off trade routes and instead sail around the southern tip of Africa.

The vessel will sail around Vienna's Africa en route to Europe for the summer season.
Affected guests can transfer for free to a future sailing of similar duration, rebook on another cruise with a partial refund or additional payment to cover the difference, or receive a full refund.
The canceled voyage is the latest in a series of cancellations in the region due to geopolitical tensions stemming from the war between Gaza and Israel.
Azamara also changed his sailing schedule to take the conflict into account. The 2024 Israel-focused voyage with Azamara Journey was replaced by a Canada and New England voyage in October.
