'God really had a hand in this miracle'
A married woman with children thanked Dr. Ben Carson for saving her life decades ago at a Texas A&M University event last night.
Dr. Carson, a former pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins Children's Center who later served as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Trump administration, spoke at the Turning Point USA event.
“There was truly a hand of God in this miracle,” Sara Bowker said. According to Bowker, she was born with craniosynostosis, a condition in which the skulls fuse improperly.
“You gave me the opportunity to graduate from high school, college and graduate school, participate in competitive sports, get married and have children,” Bowker said. “So this isn’t all about politics, but I just wanted to say thank you.”
