According to TMZThe 28-year-old comedian has revealed that he has ended his relationship with girlfriend Jessica Lord.
Life and Lord originally met in Mississippi in 2022, but began dating in June of the following year. This was because Life was with someone when they first met.
A source told the outlet that the couple split in March and that the decision to split was amicable.
The relationship simply “ran its course” and Life has remained single ever since, focusing on his career and “focusing on his stand-up tour.”

Life and Lorde's relationship only lasted nine months, despite the “Wild 'n' Out” alum raving about her shortly after the two began dating.
Last October, the stand-up comedian enthused Lord, saying: People Magazine She was his biggest supporter at that time.
“She’s really important to my infrastructure,” Rife said of Lorde at the Forbes Under 30 Summit in Cleveland. “It’s new, but I like to keep it a little more personal because people are literally going crazy.”

He also revealed that his ex-boyfriend advised him to prioritize his health and focus on improving their relationship.
“She forces me to have some personal time, which I love,” he said. “Whenever she says, 'Can we have some time tomorrow?' I say, 'Thank you. I'd love to.'”
Some of Rife's famous ex-boyfriends include podcaster Brooke Schofield and actress Kate Beckinsale, who has accused him of cheating on her with multiple women.

Comedian takes a break from his tour schedule
Last month, Life had to take a two-week hiatus from making people laugh on tour due to health issues.
Life is currently on a sold-out ProbleMATTic World Tour, which is set to span two years and three continents and feature 115 shows, but was forced to take a break early last month due to “extreme fatigue.”
He also apologized to his fans for any inconvenience caused via Instagram at the time.
“I'm so… sorry, but due to a last minute medical emergency I have to reschedule tonight's show (again),” Rife wrote. “I've been doing 40+ shows a month for over a year and a half and I've never had to do anything like this. I'm so, so sorry. I hope you understand and I love you so much.”

Despite Life's apology and health concerns, some fans expressed their anger online, pointing out that they had booked flights and accommodation to see him and that it was all wasted due to the cancellation.
He will then return to the tour, performing at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Friday, before heading to Hollywood, California, for another show at The Main Room at Hollywood Improv on Tuesday.
Matt Life is grounding himself
Despite his incredible success in his career to date, Life maintains a humble attitude, sharing life lessons he's learned from fellow comedian Dave Chappelle.
He describes his grueling schedule as “a nightmare in the best way,” and revealed that at one point in his life he considered “quitting comedy and moving back to Ohio and getting a regular job,” but ultimately stayed put and followed Chappelle's advice.
“Dave Chappelle actually gave me this advice on this tour: 'Make time to still live your life, because that's where the material comes from,'” Life shares, adding that while it's important to think about work, “you have to create. You still have to have a personal life.”

Rife's success continues, as he recently signed two special deals with Netflix in April, after his first special on the platform, “Natural Selection,” garnered astronomical viewership numbers in the latter half of last year. DeadlineHe's also signed a development deal for a workplace comedy series he'll write and star in.
