Members of the Fund for Leadership, Equity, Access, and Diversity (LEAD Fund) are mourning the death of Dr. Christopher A. Metzler, Chairman of the Board.
Metzler's family announced that he passed away on March 23 at his beloved home in Grenada.

Chun said Metzler's knowledgeable advocacy and inspiring perspectives at the LEAD Fund are essential guides to the organization's work to provide thought leadership that promotes inclusion through research and education on issues related to diversity, social responsibility, and human and civil rights. He said he provided .
Metzler studied international human rights at Columbia University in New York and human rights law at Oxford University in England. He was a member of Oxford University and Kellogg College, Oxford.
Among his accomplishments, Metzler is credited with creating the nation's first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) certification while serving as a professor of DEI, law, and related fields at Cornell University.

“Metzler has been at the forefront of the movement to build a business and higher education workforce that reflects the diversity of skills, talent and ideas,” said Shirley J.
