Wearing makeup during the hot summer months isn't always an ideal or enjoyable experience. But one makeup product I love to wear all year round, even on the sweaty, humid days of summer, is blush. It's a quick and easy way to boost your glow factor without having to apply makeup all over your face.
The blusher that I will continue to use this summer is Lawless Beauty Pinch My Cheeks Soft-Blur Cream Blush ($29). It has a cloud-like texture and contains a blend of antioxidants, micronized pigments and powders to protect the skin from free radicals, making it especially ideal for the warmer months. (Bonus: You can also wear it on your lips.)
The cream blusher is non-comedogenic, talc-free, and vegan, and contains green tea extract to help revitalize the skin. It also contains high-performance hybrid elastomer microsphere powder to create a soft focus effect with a velvety finish, which I personally prefer. The micronized pigments in blusher help each color look as bright or subtle as desired and glide smoothly over cheeks or lips.
Also available in six beautiful colors.
- angelThis is a pretty nude rose perfect for days when you want a little color.
- cherry pieA bright cherry pink pop that you can never miss.
- GumdropIt is a bright baby pink that is great for daily wear.
- rosebudDusty Cool Rose for those who like a bare-faced look.
- starburstA soft peach that adds a bright and fresh color to the skin.
- loverA bright watermelon shade that screams summer and fun.
Light, creamy, and velvety, no matter which shade you choose, it will help you embrace your love of blush and give your skin a rejuvenated, glowing look that lasts no matter how warm it is outside.
This is a review of Loris Beauty Pinch My Cheeks Cream Blusher.
When I tried each color, I felt that they all blended into my skin without interfering with other facial makeup, such as foundation (liquid or powder) that I was wearing. After using the blush for the first time, it gave me a dull, skin-like finish that made me want to apply it every morning.
Whether you choose to go full makeup or a natural no-makeup look that uses vibrant blush colors to add vitality to your skin, these buildable products will help you easily achieve your desired level of makeup. Color intensity. One thing I really look for when choosing a really minimal look (brow gel, mascara, blusher) is a blusher that provides a natural yet striking pop of color to enhance the look I'm going for.
I fell in love with how creamy this formula is since I tend to use my fingers to apply blusher to my cheekbones. If you've used blusher quite a bit, you'll know that certain formulas don't transfer well with your fingers and work better with a brush or beauty sponge. I really liked the way the blush glided smoothly onto the skin and it had a satin powder finish, a cherry color. It gave my skin a really nice, glowy, natural look that I love in the summer.
I rubbed the product with my index finger and then gently tapped the blusher onto either side of my cheekbones until both sides were blended. I tend to err on the simpler side, so I usually just swatch once, but if I'm dressing up or want more noticeable pigment, I add more product until I get the color I want.
verdict
Sometimes blush can be too pale, not intense, or not long-lasting. With Lawless Beauty's new blush formula, that couldn't be further from the truth. This long-lasting, buildable blush lasted through a humid dinner outdoors after a long day at work.
Starburst has become my go-to blush color every day, and I'll add a little cherry pie on top when I want a more vibrant look. Summer may have just begun, but I can see myself using multiple colors simultaneously and changing up my everyday look throughout the sunny season.
