Korean Air's Air Premia will begin operating the Seoul-San Francisco route four times a week starting May 19.
Air Premia will compete with Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and United Airlines on this route.
The airline debuted in fall 2021 and currently operates U.S. routes from Seoul to Los Angeles and Newark. Additionally, Air Premia is operating the Seoul-Honolulu route until early March.
Air Premia operates the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which is configured with 56 premium economy seats with 42 inches between rows and 253 economy seats with 35 inches between rows.
Tickets for the new route go on sale on Wednesday.
