Kevin Bacon isn't ruling out a “Footloose” sequel.
The topic came up while the actor took questions from fans on a bonus episode of his podcast, “Six Degrees with Kevin Bacon,” titled “Ask Kevin (Almost) Anything.”
He sat down with Stacy Huston, Executive Director of SixDegrees.org, to ask questions about “Footloose 2.”

Bacon insisted it was over, but Stacey asked, “Was it still?”
Huston went on to lay out his vision for the new film, saying: “You are now John Lithgow. He's not forbidding dancing, he's older and would have raised it himself. Maybe your kids are in high school. … I think that's the sequel. Well, he’s your son.”
“I never say never,” Kevin said with a smile, adding, “I think it would be a disaster.”
The original 1984 film centers on a teenager named Len McCormack (Bacon) who moves to a small town where dancing is banned. A movie that celebrates its 40th anniversary this year!
A remake of the failed film came out in 2011, starring Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough.
