Showing off her newly opened salon, Kenya admitted it needed “a little TLC” because “there's a lot going on”. In her view, Kenya is “fighting the haters” by becoming a successful business owner. She is also a mom to 5-year-old Brooklyn, who she shares with her ex-lover Marc Daly.
“I can never understand how people go out of their way to disparage your name or destroy your business,” she said. “Leave me alone. I'm a single mother. I'm here like everyone else. I don't get child support, I don't get anything. I take care of my daughter on my own.”
She asked her fans to “come with me on this journey,” especially amid what has been a “very difficult week.”
“I am blessed,” Kenya said. “I just wish people would stop trying to tear down other black women's businesses. It's nothing that serious. I don't bother people as long as they don't bother me.”
“I keep winning, you know?” she added. “It's in my blood. Success is all around me, so I take it. God gave it to me, but I also give back as much as I can.”
Kenya assured her followers that they would “see” her in the coming days.
“Despite everything surrounding what people want to write about, I’m not going anywhere,” she said.
Throughout her live, fellow Kenyan housewives watched and offered kind words. Kenya actually shouted. Drew Sidora and Porsha Williams As a supportive friend.
