Last January, FOX News analyst Giano Caldwell was having breakfast with friends at a bookstore café in Miami, Florida when he was approached and asked to leave because of his conservative views.
I can't believe what just happened. I met for breakfast with friends at Paradis Books and Bread in North Miami, and while discussing politics, we were told by the owner that we were not welcome there because we did not agree politically. It's absurd.

We reported on this at the time.
Now the bookstore cafe is closed for good.
RedState reported:
Wake up and meet the broke: News Journo, the Miami bookstore that infamously chased away foxes, is now closed
See, I don't tend to automatically tell business owners how to run their business. It's their money and their adventure. Run things as you see fit. Rather, I encouraged the brand to become self-reliant. Often, when left-wing activists mandate that companies serve certain groups or force certain levels of inclusion, they say that if they feel so strongly that this is a viable plan, they should back their ideas with their own cash and sweat. Be fair and go for it.
The same goes for Paradis Books, a bohemian-themed business in Miami that opened in 2021. This was a bookstore and wine emporium that served food and promoted a communal environment with an avowed leftist leaning. Did you see the past tense used there? That's because the store has just announced it is closing after internal challenges and a particularly turbulent year.
The closed business posted the following message on its website:
hello.
Audrey, Brian, and Bianca are here. We have made the heavy decision not to reopen Paradise and this is our way of letting you know why. We have reached our limit and are ending this project in our own way. You can stop reading now because we're going to say congratulations to our haters! However, we wanted to explain our parting ways while saying our sincere gratitude to those who loved us, supported our many changes, laughed with us, danced with us, and perhaps even cried with us.
This video is taken right after the incident last year.
Companies that do this deserve to fail.
