Look, everyone.
We try hard not to judge almost anyone at The Hollywood Gossip.
It's almost impossible to really understand what someone else is going through. This is especially true in the case of tragedy.
And last December, June Shannon suffered the ultimate tragedy when her daughter Anna died of cancer.
We continue to offer our condolences to June and her loved ones.
But we also can't help but react in a suspicious way about June filming Anna's final days on her reality TV show, Mama June: Family Crisis.
For example, in a new interview with People Magazine, June gave readers an update on Anna's kids (Kaitlyn Elizabeth, 8, and Kylee Madison, 11) while also teasing future episodes of the aforementioned show.
“Kaitlyn lives with me now and [husband] Justin. Then Kylee lives with her biological father, but we all knew that,” Shannon explained, before quoting the TV series:
“People will probably find themselves talking about the situation as the season progresses.”
June is involved in a custody battle with Anna's ex-husband, Michael, who is the biological father of his ex-wife's youngest child.
she wants to raise both Among her grandchildren.
Shannon claims Anna's final “wish” was for this to come true, but she didn't put it down on paper.
“It was hard for her… She struggled, but she let everyone know how she felt, especially at the end,” June previously said.
Anna's eldest daughter's father has never been revealed to the public.
Late last year, Anna's husband, Eldridge Toney, shared more about his spouse's final days, including the vows he made to his late wife about her two daughters.
“They are my daughters.
“I promised Anna that I would stand by them and do the right thing and make sure they remember their mom. And that is what I will do.”
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum died at age 29 on December 9, less than a year after being diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer.
“It is with a sad heart that we inform you that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. “She passed away peacefully at our home last night at 11:12pm.” June wrote shortly after losing her child.
“She had a tremendous fight for 10 months. She passed away with her family by her side. We will update you with more information as we get it today.”
