FOX News' Judge Jeanine Pirro responded to Trump's ruling today by saying America has gone over a cliff.
As a judge, Jeanine lamented what this decision did to the public image of our legal system, but as a political matter she was clearly outraged.
She represented millions of Americans.
From FOX News:
America 'went over a cliff' with Trump's conviction, Judge Jeanine said: 'It's all smoke and mirrors'
Fox News host Jeanine Pirro said Thursday that the United States has “gone over a cliff” after former President Trump was found guilty on all counts. This makes him the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a crime.
“I want to believe that Americans believe in justice. And I think they realized in their gut that there was something very wrong here. “We have gone over a cliff in America.” Pirro spoke on air shortly after a jury found Trump guilty on all counts of falsifying business records, concluding a historic and unprecedented criminal trial. Trump has pleaded not guilty on all counts.
“This is the verdict of a man who was forced to fight a 1,000-pound gorilla with his hands tied behind his back. This defendant committed a crime, the judge… handpicked this defendant, denied him the ability to fight the way he needed to, and committed a crime never before heard of in New York. They are places where state courts or state judges or prosecutors have misdemeanors resurrected as felonies based on non-unanimous convictions for federal crimes over which they have no jurisdiction,” Pirro said.
“And at the end of the day, all this smoke and mirrors, 34 counts, prostitutes, men, [who] “He is a serial perjurer, according to a federal judge, and we found the former President of the United States guilty,” she continued.

Here are the details:
America has gone over a cliff. It is a sad day for this great country when a former president is found guilty of a crime not even specified in the indictment, a crime for which he cannot defend himself. November 5th cannot come soon enough. pic.twitter.com/JYMYpzIPrh

By doing this, the Democrats have set a dangerous precedent. They may not like living by the new rules they have created.
