MSNBC's Joy Reid dropped a bombshell on Monday. She talked about hot mics where the host probably thought she wasn't hot.
While not newsworthy in and of itself, the reason for the swearing-in could show that a rift is starting to appear on the left between sane people and trigger-happy President Joe Biden.

'Another damn war'
in her show RaidoutThe host was whining about Republican opposition to President Joe Biden's immigration “deal” that includes billions of dollars for foreign countries.
Clearly that wasn't all that was on Reed's mind.
“As congressional negotiators continue bipartisan negotiations to tie border policy changes to funding for Ukraine, fixing what they say is a crisis at the border,” the host said, a meeting that Donald Trump is also attempting. He said. interrupt.
“Over the weekend, President Biden said he was prepared to take action if Congress was serious about solving the border problem.”
Reid's show aired a clip of Biden's speech in Columbia, South Carolina, on Saturday.
However, in the video snippet, Reid, unaware that his microphone was still on, said:
BIDEN: If that bill were law today, we would close the border now and fix it quickly… And Congress must get the job done.
Reed: Starting another damn war.
When she returned to the air, she first addressed Biden's remarks and the immigration debate.
“They’re still trying to ruin the deal,” Reed said, referring to President Trump. “He brags about impeding progress and he says, ‘If I fail, blame him.’”
But eventually, after hearing and understanding what she said on air, she addressed her remarks and apologized to viewers.
“Before I go, I want to quickly apologize.” Reed said. “I was chatting during the clip that was playing, and we're trying to keep this show PG-13. So I would like to apologize to everyone who was listening to my ‘behind the scenes’ conversation. “I deeply apologize for that.”
Perhaps her “another damn war” comment was a reference to rising tensions in the Middle East, particularly with regard to Israel and Gaza. In a related development, three American soldiers were killed in Jordan on Sunday in what the Pentagon said were Iranian proxies.
Biden has promised retaliatory action.

Honestly, for change.
MSNBC has a habit of not criticizing this Democratic president.
Unless they accidentally do so when they think it's not on the air.
Joy Reid definitely had her moments of honesty.
He then apologized.
