Seinfeld sincerely apologized to Stern for his comments, saying the radio host wasn't funny. Talking to page 6 On Wednesday, Seinfeld shared how guilty he feels about his comments.
“I feel really bad about what I said about my friend Howard Stern in my conversation with David Spade and Dana Carvey about the glut of comedy podcasts,” he said.
Seinfield said he did not mean to comment on Stern's podcast or imply that other shows are better than his.
He added: “I was trying to say that he must feel surrounded, but I said 'flanking,' which sounded horrible and insulting. And of course, none of these little shows are a threat to his huge show. Anyway, it was bad. I'm sorry, “I still love you.”

Jerry Seinfeld's Remarks on Howard Stern's Podcast
Seinfeld's statement about Stern and his show, “Howard Stern Show,” was made during a recent appearance on the “Fly on the Wall” podcast.
In a conversation about the popularity of podcasts, the stand-up comedian said Stern invented the podcast format, but added, “We're better than him now.”
He said, “Howard's interesting. Howard's a great interviewer, but his comedic chops, I mean, can we be honest?”
Seinfeld explained that while Stern and co-host Robin Quivers are great, they are “overwhelmed” by the podcast industry.
The actor added that there are better comedy podcasts available now, including the “Fly on the Wall” podcast.

He added, “It's the best on air. It's smooth because they play well together, and they don't jump around, so it's annoying to listen to.”

Jerry Seinfeld claims the 'far left' ruined comedy.
Seinfeld's interview comes after he accused the “far left” of ruining comedy.
“There's nothing really impactful about comedy. People need it all the time. They need it so bad and they don't get it,” the comedian said during an appearance on the New Yorker's Radio Hour.
“Well, guess what? Where is it? Where is it? This is a result of the far left and the PC cr-p and people worrying too much about offending other people,” Seinfeld said.
Seinfeld fondly recalled classics such as 'All in the Family' from his heyday, but said that the comedy shows produced these days are of a lower standard.

Howard Stern Has Beef With Mancow Mueller
Seinfeld isn't the only enemy Stern has made over the years in the radio and television industry. Last year, journalist Mancow Muller released a documentary series alleging that Stern hurt her with horrible comments during their feud in the '90s.
Muller said Stern hit him in public several times and at one point threatened to rape him. The rape threats coincided with a dark period in Mueller's life when his father was suffering from terminal cancer.
“My father was a $30,000-a-year cabinet maker, and he was the number one topic on the Stern Show for a year,” he said. “The countdown to my father’s death, how he was going to have sex with my mother, how he was going to exploit me.” “I wonder if it is,” he said. “I told the listeners that my mother drooled on herself when she raped me, how I was going to exhume my father’s body, and told the listeners to go to my father’s funeral,” he said.

Stern also previously had a 30-year beef with actress Kathie Lee Gifford, despite them never meeting physically.
During an appearance on the 'Today' show in 2018, the 'Way' star revealed how she ended up squashing their beef after she killed him with kindness.
“I was in the makeup room one day and all of a sudden he came in to announce ‘America’s Got Talent,’” she said.
Gifford continued: “I felt the Lord clearly telling me, ‘Go and say hello to Howard.’ I'm standing right here. ‘Howard, this is Kathie Lee. I think it's time to say hello. I hope your show goes well.' And I was really shocked.”
