“I've never worked so hard to connect a memoir/autobiography like this. I cried early on when you talked about how you grew up and the state of your home. I lived it because I understood it. Watching how real and vulnerable you were reading your own book out loud. It was really amazing to hear, it really took my breath away from the hard parts, and I hope you keep writing so I can continue to support your writing.” share.
Another netizen added, “I happened to be listening to the audiobook just in time for Parents' Day, and I really like it. I'm sorry that you had to go through that, and I'm sorry that my younger self did something like that.” My mom is still with us, but I know I'll have conflicting emotions when her Mother's Day comes.”
