In a move that sounds familiar, Donald Trump promised billions of dollars in golf course investment in Scotland but delivered nothing.

President Trump said he would spend £1 billion on the scheme, but that did not happen.

“Even if he could raise the money to build the whole thing, he wanted a golf course and that was it,” he said.
“He was willing to fight the environmental battle and create the impression that this was a billion-dollar project and that Scotland desperately needed it. But I think he had no money and no intention of finishing it.”
He added: “I’m very embarrassed and ashamed that I fell in love with him and Scotland fell in love with him.” We're all into it. He would never do that.”
Trump is a fraud and the fraud starts from the very beginning of this project. Trump over-inflates the amount he will invest in the project, which causes excessive inflation in the value of the project, and through this he borrows more money, and when it comes time to pay taxes, he cries out that he is poor.
Donald Trump's business model appears to be a scam.
It has been revealed that Trump fraudulently increased the value of a Scottish golf course by £200m by including non-existent properties in the valuation.
Some in Scotland have been trying to investigate Trump for years over alleged money laundering and fraud linked to Scottish golf courses.
Trump's fraud trial took place in New York, but the former president's alleged crimes are international.
