Japanese craftsman Terumi Ota spent more than 500 hours creating a surreal wool felt model of a miniature pinscher, capturing the attention of social media with over 32,000 likes on X.
Achieving the dog's realistic appearance, especially its short fur, required combining different furs and careful placement using needles, a task spread over seven years intermittently through other commissions. Known for his realistic representations of short-haired breeds, this model is one of Ota's most notable works, along with his 180cm tall realistic white elephant sculpture, renowned for its delicate fur folds and anatomy.
