The Democrats have done their best to ruin President Donald Trump. Even trash lawsuits couldn't stop him. The lies of rebellion could not stop him. Not even the 14th Amendment could stop him. Not even the FBI's surveillance and lies could stop him. Crooked district attorney charges attorney fees. He is sentenced to 700 years in prison for a fabricated crime. He stole over $250 million from his business to pay off business loans. Brutal harassment of his family.
None of this has stopped President Trump from his mission to save America from Marxist groups and power-hungry elites.
Now the left has a new tactic.
Today Politico is urging Republicans to skip the Trump rally. They don't think it's fair that tens of thousands of people will come out for Trump when Old Joe can only have a few hundred supporters come out to see him. Many of them are paid supporters!
Over the past eight years, millions of Americans have seen President Trump speak. The elites want it to stop.
From Politico.
The line snaked down the driveway, hundreds of people long. The weather in southern New Hampshire was terrible, with ice, slush and sub-zero temperatures, but Donald Trump's supporters didn't care. They were willing to wait two hours in the freezing cold and three more hours in an airless ballroom to witness what promised to be their chance at victory. The day before, their beleaguered champions pulled off a huge win in Iowa, and tonight's rally was his victory lap. The night presented the possibility of powerful, bold and outrageous vintage Trump, and they were willing to wait for it.
President Trump went on stage two hours late at 7 p.m. “If you thought getting here was easy, you’re mistaken,” said Trump, who arrived in a military motorcade driven by combat-trained drivers. His audience, riding in SUVs and pickup trucks over slippery highways and icy back roads, laughed awkwardly. It was clear Trump didn't want to be here.
Trump's rallies, once a major attraction in the MAGA world, have now become awkward sideshows in his larger political drama that is playing out largely in closed courtrooms and six-page legal orders. (That very morning, Trump appeared in court in New York.)
But something deeper than distraction or fatigue plagued the former president's appearance in New Hampshire. Trump's speeches have always been long-winded and directionless, but in 2024 they inevitably have the added disadvantage of being monotonous.
They can't stop Trump. So now they are begging him to be ignored so they can continue their mass destruction of America.
