Israel attacks Iran: Israeli forces struck near Isfahan, Iran overnight, in retaliation for Iran's drone and missile barrage that hit Israel about a week ago.
The fighting began on April 1 when Israel attacked the Iranian consulate in Syria, killing three senior commanders and four officers who direct Iran's military strategy. But Iran and Israel have been waging a shadow war for a long time. The recent strike only puts the tensions on public display.
Iranian air defense systems reportedly intercepted most of the drones. Some flights transiting Iranian airspace were diverted and others were cancelled. Damage was minimal.
Isfahan is home to several of Iran's nuclear facilities and the uranium enrichment program needed to develop nuclear capabilities. Some of the attacks appear to have been designed to hit key military bases in the region. But just as Iranian attacks have done little to no harm in Israel, the same appears to be true here.
Opinion was divided within Israel. Some attacked while brandishing sabers, while others said the attacks looked “weak.”
“Iran must understand that if it acts against us, it can attack at any time and cause serious damage,” former national security adviser Eyal Hulata said on Gallei Tjahal (Army Radio). “We have a very capable Air Force, and the United States is on our side.”
Iranian officials also expressed mixed views. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned that “even the smallest act of aggression” on his country's territory would trigger a massive response and that “nothing will be left from the Zionist regime.” But many have pointed out that Iran's attacks on Israel and ample warnings do not appear to have been designed to cause much damage. In other words, both countries have expanded. That's right. But despite my stance to the contrary, I managed to exercise some self-control and become scared.
Biden's awkward situation: The Associated Press reported, “Democratic donors have covered more than $1 million in legal fees for lawyers representing President Joe Biden in the special counsel’s investigation into his handling of classified documents.” “While Biden’s use of party funds to finance his legal bills is not unprecedented and falls within the scope of campaign finance laws, it continues to hammer home former President Donald Trump’s much broader use of donor funds. “It could cloud Biden’s ability to do so.”
Of course, that's unlikely to happen in practice, as it would take a hostile mainstream media interested in actually holding Biden accountable for his duplicity.
“Every time you donate to a campaign, we'll be talking directly to voters. We don't spend our money selling legal bills or gold sneakers.” said Biden's campaign finance chairman, Rufus Gifford, gave an interview on MSNBC earlier this month that he was clearly proud of. It turns out that this is simply not true!
New York scene: “From Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and Islip Airport on Long Island, dozens of private jets bound for Florida take off at times like 11:42 p.m. or 11:54 p.m. A scheduled flight departs from San Juan, Puerto Rico to JFK Arrives at a seemingly purposeful time: about 15 minutes to midnight, while the tax lawyer waits for the clock to tick before crossing the state line in his luxury SUV near the entrance to the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey. It tells the story of New York.”
In the amazing world of the rich who organize their living quarters stories in case they get audited. Bloomberg. Each of these people? Heroes in my books.

If this is true, and it appears to be so, this is a serious ethical violation.
I say this as someone who prefers the use of effects, including AI, in documentaries.
As with all films, many documentary elements operate at a subconscious level in the viewer. These factors… You need to create https://t.co/DdsNlu6u19.
