LITTLETON, CO – June 10, 2021 – This week, the Globus family, comprised of Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms, introduced significant updates to its pre-travel health and safety protocols, including requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to participate in the company's upcoming international tours. You will now need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination for your holiday abroad. “This policy update follows the latest requirements in many countries and provides travelers with the safest possible return to travel and ensures smoother movements between countries and within destinations.”
With this new policy in effect, travelers ages 12 and older will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination completed at least 14 days prior to departure. The Globus family of brands accepts vaccines approved or approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the European Center for Disease Prevention (ECDC) or official government agencies.
Those who do not comply will not be able to take part in international holidays planned with Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways or Monograms. These new protocols will apply to international holidays departing on 15 July 2021.
Nisbet also cited the company's Peace of Mind travel initiative created during the pandemic to win travelers' trust for new and replacement bookings. “If our customers are unable to go on holiday due to COVID-19 restrictions, our free peace of mind travel plans give them the flexibility to move their plans to a different 2021 or 2022 date, destination, itinerary or even a different brand. .
