50 Cent took up the challenge from Diddy's embattled son King Combs.
As you may have heard by now, Diddy is under investigation for multiple sexual assault allegations.
50, a longtime rival of Diddy's, has made no secret of the fact that he believes this particular downfall was long overdue.
Diddy didn't respond to the ridicule of the '50s. And that may be because his lawyer advised him not to remain silent for now.
But King decided to speak out on behalf of his father.
And like Drake's fight with Kendrick Lamar, he might end up regretting it.
King Combs Releases Diss Track Targeting 50 Cent
As TMZ first reported, King recorded about 50 diss tracks. And the track contains some very scathing remarks about the hip-hop legend.
The track, titled “Pick a Side”, was streamed by DJ Akademiks ahead of its release. And if King was expecting any controversy, he seems to have gotten what he wanted.
“All they had was 50 Cent who put this city on the map? “Stop lying.” King raps at one point in the song.
“Pops was hated by a lot of guys, but that’s okay/They’ll try and die to stop this M.” He goes on to reference the '50s song “Many Men” and his iconic album. strive to become rich or die.
50 Cent responds to King Combs' diss track
Not one to be afraid of a fight, 50 immediately took to social media to share his thoughts on his latest challenger.
“I feel so threatened by what Christian says on his record,” 50 sarcastically tweeted, using King’s real name.
“I fear for my life. Please don't hurt me. I have never mentioned or posted anything about Puffy’s kids because KEEFE D said he killed 2Pac.”
That last part is a reference to Duane “Keefe D” Davis. Davis was arrested last September on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Tupac Shakur.
50 Cent gets personal with scathing tweet.
In it, 50 people outlined sexual assault allegations against 50 people.
“I really don't understand why they would try to drug a woman. How do you make the connection if she doesn't remember how good she felt the next morning?”
At one point, King referenced the recent federal raid on Diddy's property, saying:
“Like those cubs who run two of our homes, they broke these doors / unfortunately they didn't know because they missed what we bought next door.”
“Why would you say this now that you know FEDS is investigating? Are you stupid or stupid? Haha,” 50 tweeted in response to the line.
It's unclear if 50 plans to reply with his own diss track.
But one thing is certain. The feud between 50 Cent and King Combs is definitely starting!
